DSSSB Primary Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) OR
- 10+2 with 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE norms) OR
- 10+2 with 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed. OR
- Graduation with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
- Diploma in Special Education (as per NCTE guidelines)
Along with:
- CTET Paper-I (Primary Level) conducted by CBSE
- Candidate must have studied Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi/English at secondary level
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10–15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years (up to 55 years)
- Contractual/Guest Teachers (DOE): Up to 5 years
