RPSC Notification Released for 1057 Posts, Applications Start from August 14, 2024

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Engineers (Civil, Mechanical/Electrical) and Assistant Statistical Officers (ASO) in various state government departments. Interested candidates can apply for these positions starting from August 14, 2024. The application window for 1014 Assistant Engineer posts will be open from August 14 to September 12, 2024, while for the 43 Assistant Statistical Officer posts, applications can be submitted from August 12 to September 10, 2024.

Educational Qualifications for Assistant Engineers

• Assistant Engineer: BE/B.Tech degree in the relevant branch.
• Assistant Statistical Officer: Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Commerce (with at least second class).

Age Limit for Assistant Engineers:

For both positions, candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2025. Age relaxation will be provided for candidates from reserved categories as per state regulations.

Application Fee for Assistant Engineers

• General/Other State Candidates: ₹600
• OBC/BC: ₹400
• SC/ST: ₹400

Selection Process for Assistant Engineers

• Assistant Engineer: Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Interview.
• Assistant Statistical Officer: Written Exam.

Salary: As per Pay Matrix Level 1 to 11.

Exam Pattern:

• Preliminary Exam:
• Conducted in offline mode.
• Each paper will be allotted 2 hours.
• Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will have 200 questions each.
• 1 mark for each correct answer, with a negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer.
• Main Exam:
• Conducted in offline mode.
• 3 hours will be given to complete the paper.
• The paper will be descriptive and available in both English and Hindi.
